Veteran entertainer Liza Minnelli has confessed she is a huge fan of Lady Gaga and has hailed the pop star as a "true artist."
The "Cabaret" star is known for her own eccentric fashion choices, and she is full of admiration of Gaga's ability to constantly change her image.
In a post on her official Facebook page, Minnelli writes, "Whenever I see Lady Gaga in a new outfit I wonder how she finds the time! Her closet must be huge! I've been listening to her new CD and absolutely loving it. She's a true artist and we'll be hearing from her for a long long time."
Gaga did not let the compliment go unnoticed, responding on Twitter: "LIZA MINNELLI loves ARTPOP. My life is finally complete! I thought of you the whole way through SNL Liza i love you!"
Gaga made her hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live" earlier this month, where she stretched her acting muscles and performed tracks from her new album, "ARTPOP."

Talk about a star sighting! The one and only Liza Minnelli headed to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on November 21 for a night of great singing and dancing at After Midnight. As we all know, Liza with a Z knows plenty about selling a song onstage, so the cast of Broadway's jazzy new hit was beyond excited to hear her praise the show. Broadway.com went backstage with Minnelli after the performance for a Hot Shot with Fantasia Barrino, Everett Bradley and Dule Hill, then Liza happily gathered the members of the high-kicking ensemble for another sweet snaphot. They do not come any more legendary than Liza Minnelli, and on Nov. 8, the Academy, Tony, Emmy and "Legends" Grammy-award-winning star is coming to Foxwoods Resort Casino's MGM Grand Theater.

Considered one of the entertainment world's consummate performers, the 67-year-old is the superstar daughter of iconic actress and singer Judy Garland and celebrated director Vincente Minnelli. Her career highlights range from being the youngest woman ever to win a leading actress Tony Award for "Flora the Red Menace" to memorable Broadway appearances including "Chicago," to an award-winning movie career as Sally Bowles in "Cabaret." Her television program, "Liza with a Z," produced a Top 20 album and won the Emmy for Outstanding Single Program and the prestigious Peabody Award. Liza was in the midst of rehearsals in New York for her current concert tour and a bit out of breath but laughing when she Spilled the Beans with Java, after excusing herself just once so she could chase after her dog who had unexpectedly bolted through an open door.
