Liza at the HOLLYWOOD BOWL by Bradly Briggs

Speaking of top form, Liza looked and sounded great at The Hollywood Bowl even though the heat was intense...BB King did a glorious set and Liza followed with a great intro which was film clips of her life and hearing Judy sing over the pa gave me chills...out came Liza looking gorgeous and slim like she hasn't in years! Singing Cabaret, when she came to the "pills & liquor" part her animated expressions were hilarious and everyone crack-up and Liza proceeded to give a fire-crackling ending that brought so far the loudest cheers of the evening and if it hadn't been in the nineties this would have been easily a standing ovation! Next was a fun story of growing up with Mom and Kay and on to the Kay Thompson medley which was an exciting set to watch with Liza in peak form...loved her moves and the guys are great with her! Closing was a roaring NYNY which brought the audience cheering to its feet for the lone standing ovation in this very hot evening...next the finale, an instrumental by Dwayne Eddy was a cooker and Liza stayed and danced through this one and looked fine and soulful! We were thinking that not so long ago Liza would not have been able to pull this evening off with such style and pzazz!!! Liza stunned the audience and it was clear she was the main attraction that everyone came to see and hopefully soon Liza will come to LA and be a knock-out!!! Love and best wishes, Bradly
