Liza Minnelli fans across Australia are rejoicing, with tickets to her first local shows in twenty years going on sale today.Tickets to shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth went on sale at 9am today, following last week's limited pre-sale release of tickets to Minnelli’s Sydney Opera House shows.Brisbane Minnelli fan Chris Logan was one of the ecstatic fans who purchased tickets today.Logan, 36, said he and his partner had spent $279 each on tickets to see the gay icon at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on October 30.“It’s not exactly small change, but it’s worth it,” he told SX. “I doubt we’ll be getting the chance to see her again ... This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see a living legend.”Minnelli herself said she was “thrilled to pieces” at the prospect of touring Australia.Speaking to SX this morning, the US superstar said: “I’m so excited that I can’t tell you.
