An obsession with fame and brand names is the essence of Andy Warhol’s influence, some say. On Sept. 18 the Metropolitan Museum of Art tests that assertion in “Regarding Warhol: Sixty Artists, Fifty Years.” It juxtaposes his work with that of contemporaries.
