The Liza Minnelli concert scheduled for Friday at the Luhrs Center in Shippensburg has been canceled.
According to a statement released by Luhrs marketing director Mark Bodenhorn, Minnelli is suffering from a throat infection and is under doctor’s orders not to perform.
“Liza regrets that she will not be able to see her fans,” Bodenhorn says. “The Luhrs Center apologizes for any inconvenience or disappointment that this may cause our patrons.”
Luhrs has no plans to reschedule the show at this time. Ticket holders could contact the Luhrs box office at 717-477-7469 to receive a refund. They also can apply the value of the tickets to another upcoming performance at the venue, purchase a gift certificate, or apply the cost toward membership in the Luhrs Circle of Friends group.
