Award-winning performer Liza Minnelli made a triumphant desert return when she took to the stage at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa Saturday night.
She recently won another Tony Award, this time for her Broadway tribute to her godmother, Kay Thompson.
Minnelli is no stranger to the area: She gave two benefit concerts in the Coachella Valley and her half sister lives in Rancho Mirage.
