The Money Tree LIVE in NY...comments by Gary

This version I believe to be even better than the LP or CD because its live and as Liza would say in the moment!! I saw her in it 3 times and she never leaves the stage maybe for a minute or more. She was so exhausted by the end of the night you could feel it. But she Shined IT On every moment(the original title for the show). They had to close the show for two weeks at one point because Liza came down with pneumonia. She was irreplaceable can u imagine that today the expense alone NEEEEEVER!! But she came back and WON THE TONY that year. And dont forget our dear went out dancing at Studio54 after the show wouldnt you become rundown too?? all my Love, Gary S from TBA.
